5 of 5 Cheap & Works @ 6x Saturday, November 01, 2008 A Customer from Green Bay, WI
For the value these are worth every penny.
The only problem is that when i was burning them at 8x i would get errors on almost every disc. When i bring burn speed down to 6x they are perfect. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Memorex DVD +R DL Thursday, September 04, 2008 BIG AL from CC Philadelphia, PA
Have used about 200 of these disc so far with only one coaster..used to back up my video collection using my PC (DVD~FAB) with a Sony DVD burner and record programs from cable using a Sony DVD recorder. Have used to transfer video I have shot on trips to give to friends and have played with no problem on several various brands of players..."CANNOT" beat the price and service..over $60 cheaper and did not have to drive to that box store to be only told out of stock as only had 5 at that price and no raincheck..save yourself the hassle..order on line from Buy.Com..also no problems with std free shipping Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 So far I'm 3 for 3 Tuesday, September 02, 2008 Ray from Chicago, IL
I made flawless copies of 3 DVD's that were each more than 7 Gigs using DVD-Fab with my internal IDE Phillips burner on XP Pro OS. These are the first dual layer blank DVD's I have ever purchased because of the high cost of DL disks. I am glad that the cost is becoming more affordable. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A Good Deal Tuesday, August 26, 2008 wapack2 from Antrim
Overall, I've been quite satisfied. I've used these with two different computers, one that is an LG Dual Layer writer and one with a new HP computer. With the LG writer I did have to go down to a speed of 4 before it would successfully complete a copy, which was a little frustrating at first. With the new computer 8 works fine. I will definitely get more. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Very dependable media Tuesday, August 19, 2008 Big Al from CC Philly PA
Great price..have used about 200 of these to backup movies where I do not want to compress the quality and the copy equals the orginal..have had 2 coasters probably something I did wrong. works great with internal computer burner and a Sony RDR-GX330 hooked up to Comcast cable for recording shows when I'm traveling..and also price is about $60 cheaper than the mall that never seems to have it in stock..highly recommend A+ Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Really good and will continue to use... Tuesday, July 29, 2008 A long time tech junkie/wiz who knows his stuff from So Cal
So far these have been awesome and have far exceeded my expectations. I've read it all, has done a good amount of research and conducted my own tests. I have used TDK, Memorex, Verbatim, Sony, and a couple of generic brands of media. All of these include CD-R, DVD+/-R, and DL DVD+R. One thing that I will first conclude is that the success rate of media used also depends a great amount on the Burner you have. With that said, I highly recommend you do some research if your burner is compatible with Memorex in the first place as it will save you a lot of trouble and money of course. Verbatim is the best because the media is created to be most compatible with the burners in todays market. This is usually why it is rated so high because it works really well. However, it is usually the most expensive. Thus why it is important to try alternatives. Remember media is usually manufactured by a few OEM companies that just rebadge or redistribute under the company name that pays for it. Not always the case but, the Memorex here are made by Ritek. So far, used about 40 to back up data and some movies and these Memorex have worked flawless, no coasters, no errors. Lifespan of these DVDs should be just as good as long as you take care of them. Remember important to do research, and if anyone's interested these have worked great in my Sony/NEC Optriarc 7170, Samsung SH-S182M, and Pioneer DVR-116D burners. Also, not all DVD players/Game consoles etc. can play your specific media brand so keep that in mind too. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 What More? Saturday, July 26, 2008 Mike Warner from Seattle, WA
I've burned about 25 so far and I've had zero coasters. My advice: learn to distinguish between Vista problems and media problems; usb burners with Vista are squirrelly. Be patient, be conservative; burn at 4x. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 reliability for a good price Tuesday, July 22, 2008 A Customer from San Jose, CA
Got these for a very good price with very fast delivery. Did have 2 disks that failed, but the problem could be mine because I was multi-tasking on the computer while it was writing. Have not had much problem with Memorex DL disk. Would definitely buy from again. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Discs Monday, July 21, 2008 Todd from New York, NY
I have only burned 5 so far, but, I have burned 1 at 4X, 2 at 6X, and 2 at 8X, and so far I have yet to create a coaster. I have a newish, inexpensive LG multi-burner, and these discs, so far, seem to work great. I don't even have an option to burn at 2.4X speed in Nero using these discs. Was this review helpful?
