A fantastic tv for a price that is very cheap, $999! Tax-free and free shipping too! This TV could have been so much better if it has the PIP function. Also, the wide screen format does not stretch the received broadcast to fit the screen. I hope Philips can fix this issue and release a software update. The excellent contrast ratio is very noticeable and 120Hz is awesome. Was this review helpful?

Have had this TV for a week now. The picture is stunning of course with movies and sports displayed with clarity. I haven't heard the internal speakers as I have it set up with my AV receiver and surround sound speakers. The auto scaling feature works well. On occaision as the movie / show changes it takes a few seconds for the TV to adjust to the new input. There's plenty of DVI inputs (4) and the side mounted ones for easy access from the front are petty handy. I haven't had a chance to try the USB plug for slideshows yet - but my 37" Phillips has one and works great to show off your latest photos. Was this review helpful?

I was looking for a TV with 120 Mhz frame rate, good response time, and one that represented a good value for the money. The Philips family has received excellent reviews for quality and value, so I decided to go with this TV. The Buy.com price was $20 less than the local Membership discount store (SAMs Club), Shipping was free and not paying the local sales tax saved $120. Virtually plug-n-play (if you have HD satellite or cable service). The walk-through set-up and picture quality to your preference - amazing! The 120Mhz & 2ms response is one of the best I have found for the price and, the blu-ray display is incredible. This product has me strongly considering Philips for any entertainment equipment. I was looking for a TV with 120 Mhz frame rate and one that represented a good value for the money. The Philips family has received excellent reviews for quality and value, so I decided to go with this TV. The Buy.com price was $20 less than the local Membership discount store, Shipping was free and not paying the local sales tax saved $100. The digital receiver is great, I prefer watching the local broadcast HD TV, the picture is Great. The sound is a little weak, but does not distort when turned up, so it is acceptable.
