Wireless doesn't work too well in my apartment. Lots of wireless interference and network drops. thinking in powerline as an alternative solution never failed me. This Kit was literally Plug and Play, and easy to install. up and running in 2 mintues; and for 3 months now flawlessly, it never froze.
With it's 200 mbps it's also perfect when streaming movies, or listening to music. I use it with my Xbox live as well, no complains.
the only drawback, for me, it's Bright white color; but who cares!!! Was this review helpful?

I bought this product because my downstair bedroom has problem getting wireless coverage from my living room. I bought the ZyXEL PLA401 kit, it was so easy to install and I now have my dwonstair room connected with Internet too. Like the product and the price is good. Was this review helpful?

Good for network extension in case you don't have the budget to wire your home. I used a pair of these powerline adapters to extend my wireless service. I think they are very easy to install and works well in my home. I connect one adapter to the cable modem and one adapter to my wireless router. The router is in the hallway so I can cover all the bedrooms and patio. The easiest part is to connect the powerline. C and configuring the wireless router to talk to oher computer actually takes more effort. Was this review helpful?
