Once I finally got it up and running, its great. However, first of all I tried to set it up using Firefoxbig mistake. You must use Internet Explorer to set it up. Once set up, then you can use any browser you want.-----
Then because I have a Levono laptop, which comes with its own programs, I had to have a program deleted that was shutting down the router every time the PC would go on standby. I had to go through the basic set up every time to get up running again. If you have a Levono, I hope you know someone who will tell you which program wants to take over the running your wireless. I had to pay $60 so there went my all the money I saved by buying it.-----
But on the positive side, its a very nice looking little box and now that all my issues are resolved, Im very happy with it.
And Ill have to give a gold star to the tech who helped me get it up and running. He really knows his stuff.

It arrived and within one hour it was set up and running - on both my new Macbook and my old desktop PC. But it was still an unprotected router. So 2 days later I used the MAC protocol and within 10 minutes I was done!! (BTW, this was the first time I ever used the MAC protocol and was surprised it was so easy). As far as connection ability in my large house - I've had almost no problem. From the 3rd floor to the basement this router works beautifully. The only place I had a problem was deep in the basement in a room with a tin roof - I still got a signal, but it was only 45%.
I highly recommend this router - and the price was wonderful.

I had a great experience with this router. Easy installation and easy setup. It looks good in the house. I have placed this as a decorative item on my TV stand behind the rabbit ears.

I purchased this router for use with an Imac and Ipod Touch.
So far, not complaints.
My only problem was setting it up. The instructions that come with it aren't very clear so it took me a while. But once it was up and running, I haven't had any problems. I always have a strong signal and no delays.
Also, the delivery of the router was ultra fast. I took the standard shipping and had the product at least 4 days ahead of schedule.
This was my first router and I'm highly pleased with it and would definitely recommend it to others. Was this review helpful?

I'm using it on a Macbook - not a problem. It works very well with excellent range.
Ease of setup - 4 - it took a phone call to my ISP provider to get it working. What needed to be done was to reset the router and the computer and - it worked!!
Also, very fast delivery - I was not expecting it for at least 3-4 days when it was delivered- thanks BUY.COM!! Was this review helpful?

I was looking for Faster Speeds and greater range on my notebook on my home network and took a chance on the Level One 6001 N Router and USB Adapter.
Pleasantly suprised with the increse in overall performance from the Super G router I had previously.....seems like I can go twice as fast on the internet and can now use my notebook outside on my deck. Easy to install also.
