5 of 5 Completely Satisfied Monday, December 01, 2008 A Customer from Hot Springs Village, AR
The price of these memory sticks keeps falling and the Kingston product just keeps performing. I have owned the 1G, then the 2G, then the 4G and now the 8G and all have worked the first time and performed as expected. Even better, their flash drives are just that...a flash drive! Many other companies load up their flash drives with software you don't need or want and even make it hard to remove. Not Kingston. Great product and highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works great, fast, sturdy Sunday, November 30, 2008 Alien Steve from Tacoma, WA
I bought this because 1. it was the best deal on an 8GB flash drive at the time and 2. it -doesn't- require software to be installed like the 1GB flash drive I bought from a Best Buy.
It has been very reliable and fast. I have the portable version of Open Office and Firefox (actually the whole suite of portable OS apps) so I can use them on the computers at school, because the school won't allow any programs be installed on their computers. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good little drive! Monday, November 24, 2008 Henry from Savannah, GA
I purchased this drive to back up financial data and important pictures. With its 8GB capacity it gives me plenty of room. It's easy to use and dependable. And when it's on sell at Buy.com the price is great! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Excellent Value Thursday, November 20, 2008 Frank from Stuart, FL
I purchased this item over a month ago. It is the second Datatraveler I have purchased. It works perfect and have never had trouble with either. It transfers fast enough and reads fast enough. I use it mainly for downloading movies at the office and watching on my Philips DVD player with usb. Was this review helpful?

This jump drive works just fine. Extremely light. Great price. Never would have imagined you could get an 8 GB drive for this price. What's next? A terrabyte for a buck? ;-) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great little USB drive Tuesday, November 18, 2008 jimbucc from CT
The Kingston DataTraveler line of USB memory sticks are very reliable. The 8GB drive is rugged and quick and I like the extra room. Looking forward to the 32GB version Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 super flash disk Tuesday, November 18, 2008 PG from Fanwood, NJ
Cap comes off easily with finger pressure on both ends of the cap simultaneously (good) but will NOT come off otherwise (good).
Really does have 8 GB usable data storage. No problems running at "high speed" USB 2.0 controller setting (480 megabits / sec, which is hugely faster than USB 1.1 so-called "full speed" (12 megabits / sec). Comes pre-formatted (Win FAT file system), no need to format it, just plug in and use. USB 2.0 controller will treat it as a hard disk: you can install an OS on it if you wish!
