4 of 5 Overall good value, but watch out for the audio sw Monday, October 06, 2008 A Customer from Adrian MI
Overall I am pleased with this KVM switch. I use it with Mac, XP and Vista. It does an excellent job with everything except Vista. Sometimes it takes a while to sync up after switching to the Vista machine and sometimes the monitor resolution settings get messed up and have to be reset.
My biggest disappointment is that the audio switching is tied in with the USB switching. The only way you can listen to audio on a different computer than the one with the currently selected keyboard and mouse is if you are using a PS2 mouse and keyboard. I don't think that is clear in the item's description. If you are using a USB mouse or keyboard, then the audio connection is to the same computer as USB, keyboard and mouse.

5 of 5 Reliable Sunday, August 24, 2008 David from Atlanta, GA
I've used several brands of usb and ps/2 kvms and the Cables to Go/Trulink is the most reliable for pcs and macs. My current setup is a mac mini, dell precision T7400, dell gx520, and a dell latitude d630. I never have any problems losing one of my input devices as i switch between systems. With other kvms, the connection to the kvm seemed to go stale after a certain amount of inactivity and wouldn't respond to the mouse and keyboard without a cold reboot. I only purchase Cables to go kvms now. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Worked Perfectly Saturday, August 23, 2008 Aubrey from Savannah, GA
This unit worked perfectly right out of the box. I attached one set of cables to my home computer and another to my server. Switching computers either using the buttons on the front of the KVM or using the hot keys has been flawless. My son brought his computer and hooked it up to do updating and backing up on the server. He had no problems either.
The one thing I do not like is the ps/2 connections on the front of the unit. I would have rather had them in the back, but I will live with it. Was this review helpful?
